🏥 Health & Immunization Programme
Comprehensive health initiatives focusing on preventive healthcare, immunization awareness, maternal and child health, and community health education across multiple districts in Western Uttar Pradesh.
CORE–PCI Polio Eradication Programme (2007-2024)
Implemented polio eradication awareness campaigns across 14 blocks in Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Sambhal, and Moradabad districts, contributing significantly to India's polio-free status achievement in 2014.
Community Health Camps & Awareness
Regular health checkup camps providing free medical services, immunization, and health awareness to underserved communities in rural areas, focusing on preventive healthcare and early detection.
Maternal & Child Health Programme
Focused interventions for mother and child healthcare, including nutrition support, immunization, prenatal care awareness, and postnatal support to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates.
💼 Economic Empowerment & Livelihood
In collaboration with the Functional Vocational Training and Research Society (FVTRS) and other partners, JKS runs comprehensive skill training workshops to equip rural youth and women with marketable skills, ensuring economic stability and self-reliance.
Mobile & Electronics Repair Training
Comprehensive training programme for youth on repairing electronic appliances and mobile phones, enabling a key technical trade in rural areas with high employment potential and entrepreneurial opportunities.
Beautician & Wellness Courses
Vocational training focused on personal grooming, salon services, and wellness therapies for women, fostering entrepreneurship and self-reliance in the growing beauty and wellness sector.
Cutting, Tailoring & Dress Making
A foundational livelihood skill enabling women to start home-based businesses and earn stable income through garment making, alterations, and custom tailoring services for local communities.
🌾 Agriculture & Water Security
Our foundational work, supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and CAPART, focused on essential infrastructure and economic programs to uplift small-income farmers and laborers through sustainable agricultural practices and water management.
Group Tubewells & Irrigation Systems
Successfully installed 12 group tubewells, enabling small and marginal farmers to irrigate their land and increase produce yield, directly improving their economic condition and agricultural productivity.
Swachh Jal Mission Hand Pumps
Installed 50 hand pumps with water quality mark under Swachh Jal Mission to ensure access to safe, clean drinking water in rural areas, significantly reducing waterborne diseases and improving community health.
Green Revolution: Cattle Breeding Programme
Implemented innovative programme to enhance milk-yielding capacity of cows and buffaloes using artificial insemination with foreign semen, praised as national model by Ministry of Rural Development.
🌳 Environmental & Educational Awareness
Comprehensive environmental conservation and education initiatives funded by European Union through Development Alternatives, focused on raising environmental consciousness, scientific thinking, and sustainable practices among students and communities.
CLEAN-India Programme (2002-2003)
Award-winning environmental awareness programme engaging students in scientific environmental monitoring using Jal Tara and Pawan Tara kits for water and air quality testing, recognized at district level.
Pollution Data Collection & Research
Students from 6th to 10th grade in six public schools collected and tested samples for Air Pollution, Water Pollution, and Sound Pollution, using scientific data to inform the public and drive awareness.
Public Awareness Campaigns & Workshops
Environmental findings were presented at public meetings and workshops, successfully motivating and raising awareness among the community about their living environment quality and sustainable practices.
💧 Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)
Integrated Community Environment Action for Sustainable Development (CEASD) funded by Foundation Ensemble (German Funded Project) & Development Alternatives, focusing on urban slum development, water management, and community health improvement.
Soak Pit Construction & Wastewater Management
Engineered and constructed soak pits for wastewater management at community hand pumps in urban slums, preventing waterlogging, eliminating mosquito breeding sites, and recharging groundwater.
Jal Tara Water Filtration Systems
Installed community-level Jal Tara Water Filters in Radha Krishna Kusht Ashram Colony providing reliable source of potable water, reducing waterborne diseases, and ensuring safe drinking water access.
Tree Plantation & Environmental Drives
Organized extensive tree plantation campaigns with community and student involvement to improve micro-climate, prevent soil erosion around water structures, and promote environmental conservation.
