About Our Impact

Founded in 1988 in the rural areas of Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, by seven dedicated social workers (4 women and 3 men), Jan Kalyan Samiti (JKS) was established to uplift underprivileged communities living below the poverty line.

Our early success in installing tube wells and hand pumps established our reputation as a trusted local partner. From 2007 to 2024, JKS played a critical role in the CORE–PCI Polio Eradication Programme, mobilizing over 400 community workers to reach more than 600,000 households for awareness and vaccination support.
